Visiting Rapallo and Camogli, Sagra del Pesce                          One of our main goals during our stay in Italy is to travel and get to know the country.                For Mother's Day this year we planned a little getaway for the weekend. Joel needed the                                 ocean, I needed the mountains. Anything else was bonus. Happy New Year!

Starting a new year in Italy is exciting. We are looking forward to new travels and adventures in the company of our children.  We are just coming from spending some days in Nice, France. It was a wonderful time full of laughter and sweet treats.  We have been blessed with Airbnb and were able to rent an apartment that was within a 20 minute drive from all the attractions we wanted to visit.  The first day we were able to dine at a little Italian restaurant funnily enough (since we live in Italy!), and it was great that some of the staff spoke Spanish. Two of my boys didn't make it to the end of the meal before falling asleep, but did enjoy what they tried.      On our second day we explored the city and its markets a bit and got to enjoy croissants and chocolates. The afternoon time was spent at the beach which was warm enough for the littles to get some layers off and even get their feet in the water!        Our last day full day was spent in Castle Hill and taking in the beautif
